The Quilters Studio – Art Quilt Challenge 2nd Saturday of month 10:30 am

Challenge #17 Tapestry Inspirations March 12th/due April 9th

We can get inspiration from other art forms…Let’s use tapestry and handmade rugs as our inspiration this month.

Use the rug photo provided in class (or find any type of textile on your own) for inspiration for an art quilt.

Use at least 2 of the elements from the inspiration piece

· Color

· Shape

· Design/Composition

· Pattern

· Motif

· Narrative

Your piece does not need to look like the inspiration piece at all, just use it as inspiration!
